Sometimes you’re looking for something that we don’t have in our library or in the greater Mid-Hudson System. Don’t despair! Inter-library loan is available to help you access materials outside our system.

  • For books, research articles, or similar items that you cannot find in the Mid-Hudson Library System, the Woodstock Library provides inter-library loan (ILL) service are resource loans from outside of the our library system.
  •  ILL loans are provided by as a courtesy loan from other institutions. These items have a specific due date and it may not be possible to renew them since the owning institution sets the parameters. These loans must be picked up and returned to the Woodstock Library only.
  • ILLs are only provided for patrons with accounts in good standing; if you have overdue or billed materials we will not allow requests. Patrons who are unable to follow special lending rules will no longer be eligible to borrow Inter-Library Loans as they jeopardize all patron’s access to these loans.
