Neil Gaiman, proud library patron!

Where it all starts. Get your Library Card!

Your Library Card is your key to unlocking all the resources Woodstock Library has to offer. You’ll use it to check out materials, log into online databases, and sign onto our public computers.

Woodstock Library cards are available to all those who live, work, worship or go to school in Woodstock. Children under the age of 18 can apply for a Library Card if their parent or guardian is present.

Signing up for your card:

  • Sign up in person: Bring a photo ID to the circulation desk and we’ll get you signed up. If your photo ID doesn’t have your current address on it, please bring proof of address such as a lease agreement, utility bill, or piece of mail.
  • Sign up online: Visit the Mid-Hudson Library System’s online portal to sign up for your card. This card is only temporary—you’ll need to visit the Library in-person within 60 days to complete your registration

Non-Resident and Temporary Cards are also available. Please have proof of permanent address and both local and home contact information. Please visit the Library to be registered.

Your library card is renewable every three years. You can check your card expiration date by logging in to your Mid-Hudson Library account.
